By booking a tour with AKT Tours, you agree to the following terms:
Payment for Camp/Adventure Activity Fee Purchasing any travel service offered by AKT Tours constitutes a contractual agreement between AKT Tours (“First Party”) and the Client (“You”) (Second Party). Both parties will be referred to as the “Parties.” Booking services with AKT Tours indicates your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth herein. These terms and conditions are binding on you and all travel companions included in your booking. Hiking, peak climbing, and mountaineering in the region inherently involve risks to life and property for both parties. Weather changes quickly and can cause injury or death, a factor beyond AKT Tours’ control. AKT Tours makes every effort to minimize risks, discomforts, and hazards within its capabilities (financial limits included), but accidents, setbacks, and service shortcomings remain possible. You must accept these terms and conditions. Please read and understand these terms carefully before confirming your booking.
Promotions The images on the website and promotional materials are for marketing purposes. They do not imply inclusion of any visual content in your trip nor any guarantee that you will experience, encounter, or see what is shown in the images.
Responsibility Regarding Physical Fitness AKT Tours offers trips and hikes that require varying levels of physical fitness. The difficulty level can depend on the degree of physical exertion, terrain, and weather conditions. Some trips may be physically demanding. Please review each trip’s difficulty level carefully before booking to make the appropriate choice and preparation. AKT Tours is not a medical expert, and it is your responsibility to obtain medical advice and fulfill health requirements, including vaccinations, prior to joining a trip. AKT Tours is not liable if you are unable to meet the physical demands of a trip. While most hikes do not require specific training, a reasonable level of fitness enhances your experience. It is your sole responsibility to ensure you are physically and mentally prepared for the trip and to carry the necessary clothing and equipment. Although there is no age limit for AKT Tours trips, any disability, pregnancy, mental or physical condition, or other medical condition that may impact your fitness for the hike must be disclosed when booking. You also confirm that neither you nor any companions for whom you book have any conditions that could endanger their own safety or the well-being of others on the trip. Failure to disclose such information may result in immediate cancellation of your trip at any stage, with full cancellation penalties applied. AKT Tours reserves the right to deny, accept, or remove from a trip any participant, at their own cost, whose condition may pose a danger to themselves or others on the trip.
Program Dates You are solely responsible for verifying the correct dates mentioned in your travel documents.
Documents All necessary documents must be submitted in advance. AKT Tours is not liable if any travel formalities are incomplete in time before departure or if any essential documents are not provided.
Itinerary Your safety and enjoyment are AKT Tours’ top priorities. Therefore, AKT Tours sincerely assumes its responsibility to ensure your trip runs smoothly as you desire. In fulfilling this responsibility, AKT Tours reserves the right to modify or cancel the trip, in part or in full, in circumstances including but not limited to unforeseen events, roadblocks, political disturbances, flight cancellations, arrival delays, illness, accidents, or other circumstances beyond AKT Tours’ control. Any additional costs arising from such circumstances are the customer’s responsibility at the time. Whenever possible, AKT Tours will inform you of these changes in advance or during the trip.
Refund No refunds (partial or otherwise) will be issued if you abandon or leave a trip voluntarily for any reason once it has begun. No refunds are available for unused accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, meals, or other services. If AKT Tours cancels the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative trip or date will be suggested, and you will be notified. You may accept the alternative trip suggestion, a voucher valid for one year, or choose another trip at your cost. AKT Tours is not liable for additional charges, credit card fees, or travel arrangements, including but not limited to flight, train, hotel cancellations, visa costs, or arrangements matching this trip. Refunds in this scenario will be processed per our cancellation policy. No refunds are available for missed or unused services, including the voluntary or involuntary termination of the tour due to illness, death of a family member, or delayed arrival. AKT Tours is not obliged to pay any compensation for losses resulting from the trip’s interruption, alteration, extension, or cancellation for any reason. However, you expressly agree that AKT Tours’ maximum liability is limited to the trip cost paid to AKT Tours.
Communication All communication will occur via the email provided by the applicant in the registration form. AKT Tours is not responsible for lost or delayed communication due to an incorrect email address provided by the applicant. In the event of an email address change, please inform AKT Tours in writing at preguntas@akt-tours.com as soon as possible.
Luggage Responsibility Luggage and personal effects are your responsibility throughout the trip. AKT Tours is not liable for the loss of luggage, belongings, air tickets, passport, cash, travelers’ checks, or other travel items during the trip, regardless of the cause.
Conduct During the Trip You must behave acceptably and conducive to group travel. AKT Tours reserves the right to cancel your trip (if you cause disturbance or inconvenience to fellow travelers or endanger or damage the property of any provider or fellow travelers) without explanation. No refunds are available for unused services in such cases. You also agree to follow the authority of the designated group leader by AKT Tours. The group leader’s decision is binding on all participants in matters affecting the safety or well-being of any person on the trip. Behavior causing danger, distress, or inconvenience to others, or hindering the group’s mobility, may result in the termination of your participation without entitlement to refunds for lost or unused services.
Amenities AKT Tours strives to ensure your comfort but requests that you understand that amenities in the region may differ from those you are accustomed to in your home country. The weather is another factor that will impact your trip directly. Therefore, patience, enthusiasm, and preparedness are encouraged.
Extra Expenses Trip inclusions vary; accommodations, meals, transfers, guides, entrance fees, equipment, and luggage handling, if included, will be specified in the itinerary. Unless specified, insurance, domestic/international airfares, passport/visa costs, airport departure taxes, excess luggage charges, gratuities, optional tours, laundry, phone calls, and personal expenses are additional.
Awareness You acknowledge that the nature of adventure and active trips entails a certain degree of personal risk. You may visit locations where political, cultural, and geographical attributes present risks, dangers, and physical challenges. By booking a tour with AKT Tours, you acknowledge these risks, dangers, and personal challenges involved in such travel and assume all associated risks, exempting AKT Tours from any claims or causes of action resulting from injury, damage, or death arising from these inherent risks. You are responsible for familiarizing yourself with customs, climate, physical challenges, laws, and local embassy contacts at each destination.
Third-Party Services AKT Tours contracts third-party services to operate such a large-scale endeavor, who are professionals in their field. By this agreement, you release AKT Tours from any liability arising from deficiencies in third-party services. AKT Tours is not responsible for any damage, loss, or deterioration of your luggage, belongings, or person when transported by porters, ponies, or vehicles during the trip, arrival/departure, or stay at the hotel/guesthouse.
Photography Rights AKT Tours reserves the right to take photographs of you during any trip and may use the photos you share via email, WhatsApp, or any website link for promotional purposes. By booking or participating in a trip with us, you automatically grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, and irrevocable license to use your images in photos and videos for promotional material, websites, social media, and advertising. However, if you prefer not to have your images used, please inform AKT Tours when booking your trip.
Optional Activities Optional activities are not part of the trip or this contract. You agree that any assistance provided by AKT Tours, its partners, or representatives does not make AKT Tours liable.
